Yvonne Bannister, 81, of Quinlan TX. passed away on Thursday January 16, 2014 in Tyler, TX. Yvonne was born on November 28, 1932 in Calexico California, the daughter of Floyd and I.V. (Hodges) Callis. Ynonne worked at Taylor Publishing Company for many years. She and her husband Louis built and owned their business, Hunt County Plumbing Supply, for many years upon retirement. Ynonne loved doing arts and crafts with her sisters. She enjoyed reading, buying jewelry, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She also had her own way with plants and flowers. Yvonne is survived by her husband Louis Bannister of 59 years on January 17, 1955; sisters, Mozell and husband Buhl Shaddy, Janice Webster and husband Marvin, and Donnie Crespo and husband Edward (Eddie); sons, Stephen Bannister and wife Teresa, and Randy Bannister; grandchildren, Misty McBride and husband Jeff, Stefanie Holbrook and husband Brent, and Brandy Sanchez and husband Albert; great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Stormy, Siera, Courtani, John, Madyson, Blake, Kenlea, McKenzie, Diseree, and Albert Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and I.V. Callis; brothers, C.W. Callis and Floyd Wayne Callis, sister Evelyn Jo North, and great grandchild Alan Wayne McBride. A memorial service was held Wednesday January 22, 2014 at Lakeview Church in Quinlan TX., officiated by Adam Williams.
