Willie Darden

Willie Gene Darden, 79, of Lone Oak passed away on August 21, 2017 in the peace of his home. Willie was born on January 11, 1938 in Birthright, Texas to his parents, Andrew Wilton Darden and Imogene Crystal (Wynn) Darden. He served his country by serving in the Army. He was a truck driver for many years before his retirement.

Willie is preceded in his death by his parents, Andrew and Imogene Darden and a son, Jackie Dale Davis.

Willie's family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his daughter, Triena Darden; his sons, Robert Wayne Darden and Andrew Darden; his soul mate, Kay Wilson; grandchildren, Penn Wayne, Deborah, Ally, Patty, and Jackie; special cousin, Bennie Gene Wynn; numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Chaplain Richard Moore with Vitas Hospice officiating. The family request that memorials be made in honor of Willie Gene Darden to the charity of your choice.
