William Foote

William "Bill" Foote, 62, of Killeen, Texas previously of Quinlan, passed away on August 26, 2015 in Dallas, Texas as a result of an accident. Bill was born on February 28, 1953 to Howland and Muriel Foote in Bristol Connecticut. Bill would go on to serve his country in the United States Navy. He would meet and later marry Virginia Bass. Bill worked for twenty-four years as a Service Electronic Technician for Eaton- Axcelis Technologies. William was known to many as "Keyboard Bill" in the field of music. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, knifemaking, gardening and playing music. Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Foote and his sister, Linda Foote. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of twenty-four years, Virginia "Ginger" Foote; sons, Eric Foote and his wife Crystal Wilkins, Chris Webb; daughter, Roxanne Stayancho and her husband John; eight grandchildren; father, Howland Foote and his wife Cecilia; brother, Tom Foote and his wife Maureen; sister, Nancy Ledbetter and her husband Bill; as well as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. Bill will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A committal service with full military honors will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 1:00PM at the Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 (214) 467-3374. Please arrive at the Public Information Center at 12:45p.m. and line up in Lane "B".
