d. October 27, 2014

Vicki Ann Taylor-Montoya was born to Betty and Harold Taylor on December 14, 1958 in Dallas Texas. Vicki passed away on Monday October 27, 2014 at the age of 55. Vicki was a highly intellectual and a very articulate person. She enjoyed her good-times, and savored her memories to share with others. She brought joy to her family, friends and co-workers through-out her life. She loved to dance, and laugh, and tell jokes, as well as play pranks! She loved her make-up, too! She always had a lesson in every story she told, and a message for life's ups and downs. Vicki was one of the first women in outside sells to accomplish a million dollar sell for Solid State Electronics where she soared to the top of her profession. She always soared to the top in her many positions in life, making her work ethic second to none! Later in life, she retired to live a peaceful life at the lake; where she enjoyed fishing and boating with family and friends; as well as many other lazy activities just relaxing. She loved her big fish catches of the day! It was at the age of fifty she met the love of her life, Norburto Montoya-Martinez. These two are as different as they come, like night and day, but found love in each other. They enjoyed this peaceful life together! In her passing, Vicki joins her father, Harold Fayne Taylor, grandparents from both sides, and many relatives. Vicki leaves behind her loving husband, Norburto Montoya-Martinez; her mother Betty Ann Taylor; her baby sister Lynda Taylor-Herndon; her only nephew Kim Shelby Herndon; her father's twin brother Lloyd W. Taylor which she adored all her life, and was her favorite uncle. Vicki also leaves behind many, many extended family members that will miss her dearly. These are Lloyd and Kathy Taylor and family; David & Paula Fonenot and family; John Lusby and family; David Lusby and family; Tanya Taylor and family; Roger & Patricia Kannard and family; Travis & Paula Hobbs and family; Jennifer & Demond Kronk and family; Jesenda Bass and family; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. Vicki's best friend and her husband are Bike and Eula Wilson. They enjoyed so many years together, family gatherings and other family members over the many years being friends, that include: Bruce and Missie Favinger, Joel and Dena Waldon, Toby and Ethel Smith, and all their extended family members. These are people Vicki considered her "other" family members which she loved very much! Vicki was my big sister, she took care of me in life when it most counted, and throughout life, again, when it most counted. I will miss her dearly, and I loved her with all my heart. She will forever be in my heart, and in my soul! My dear sister, rest now sweet child, for now you're home! I love you! Lynda Taylor-Herndon A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Quinlan on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A casual pot luck dinner will be held at Eula Wilson's house at 4:00 p.m. that same afternoon celebrating Vicki's life.
