Tommy Calverley, Sr.

Tommy Calverley, Sr., 83, passed away on August 12, 2018 at his home in Wills Point. Tommy was born on February 12, 1935 in Forney, to his parents, Raymond Lee Calverley and Alice Kathryn (Powell) Calverley. He married Bessie Yarbrough on January 31, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. He enjoyed the fruits of his labor being a rancher and was a member of Stonepoint Church in Wills Point.

Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Calverley; his parents, Raymond and Alice Calverley; and two brothers, Jack Calverley and Jimmy Calverley.

His family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his daughter, Bonnie Brickey; two sons, Tommy Calverley, Jr. and his wife Glenda, and Leland Calverley; grandchildren, Wade Brickey and his wife Andrea, Colby Brickey, Terri Quinn and her husband Brian, Andrea Weygand and her husband Sammy, and Jaycee Calverley; great grandchildren, Cannon Wynn Brickey, Tatum Quinn, Scout Quinn, Serenity Lynn, and Imani Lynn; two brothers, Sam Calverley and Jerry Calverley; as well as other relatives.

His funeral service will be held at Quinlan Funeral Home on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Brandon Bachtell officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
