Tammy Posey

Tammy Jo Posey, age 53 of Quinlan, TX, passed away on October 16, 2016, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on November 8, 1962 in Dallas, TX to Billy Joe and Melba Nadene Clark. Tammy Jo honored her role as being a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was also very artistic as a self-taught master cake baker and decorator and loved to paint and draw.

Tammy Jo is survived by her husband, Virgil Posey, Sr.; children, Virgil Posey, Jr. and fiancée Tiffany Martin of Quinlan, TX, Valerie and spouse Shane Johnson of Quinlan, TX, Veronica Posey and partner Colten Devine of Quinlan, TX; grandchildren, Brooke, Harley and Liam Posey, Dixie Rose Johnson, and Veranda Devine; siblings, Billy Clark, Jr. and wife Karen, and Kim Nowlin and partner Rehn "Smoot" Schmidt; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. She will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her and her impact will carry on in our hearts forever.

Tammy Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe and Nadene Clark, and her brother Carl Wayne Bentley.

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 23, 2016 with visitations held at 1pm at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, TX.
