Sylvia Pipkins

Sylvia Irlene Pipkins, 91, of Quinlan passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Quinlan. Sylvia was born on December 21, 1921 in Henderson County, the daughter of Aurther Lee Hammond and Laura Lorene (Hennese) Hammond. She married Harlie Pipkins on September 5, 1986 in Dallas County. She owned and operated Golden Scissors.

Sylvia is preceded in her death by her husband, Harlie Pipkins; parents, Laura and Aurther Hammond; daughters, Regina Ann Logston, Coetta Sue Logston, and Renitta Kay Logston.

Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Sharon Trimm; granddaughter, Jennifer Fritze and her husband Chris; grandson, Eugene Trimm and his wife Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Jordan Randolph, Samuel Delucerda, and Vincent Cano; great great grandchild Aurora Coleman; and sisters, Bernice Huges and Barbara Nell Clark.

Visitation with her family will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Paul Jacobs officiating. Interment will be in Ware Cemetery, Tolosa, Texas.
