Steve Holcomb, 61, of Greenville passed away on August 19, 2017 in the peace of his home surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on January 7, 1956 in San Diego, CA to his parents, Bertram Glenn and Margie Pearl (Greer) Holcomb. He was the owner and operator of Appliance Depot in Greenville. Steve will be remembered for his love of animals, especially the squirrels; loved nature and the outdoors and spending time at the lake; he loved to garden where he proved he had a green thumb, go to flea markets, car shows, cook, spend time with his family, helping others, and spending spiritual time with God.

Steve's family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his wife, Deanna (Romero) Holcomb; his father, Bertram Holcomb; his sisters, Linda James and her husband Jesse, Ronda Burns and her husband Rusty, Margie May Morrison; brother, Larry Holcomb; granddaughters, Bianca Simms and Sierra Beall; grandsons, Jacob Beall and Jerry Beall; mother-in-law, Daria Romero; father-in-law, Tony Romero and his wife Gwynn; sisters-in-law, Daria Andrews and her husband Marshall, and Heather Paddack and her husband Scott; brother-in-law, John Romero; an aunt, Dixie George; uncles, Hubert Greer, Billy Greer, and Johnny Greer and his wife Diane; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends, and pets.

Steve is preceded in his death by his son, Jerry Beall; mother, Margie (Greer) Holcomb; and sister, Tina Toole.

Steve's visitation and viewing will be on Thursday at 1:00 pm and his funeral will start at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Pastor Lucas McManus officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Campground Cemetery in Poetry.
