Solon Mitchell

Solon Glen Mitchell, resident of Quinlan, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Greenville. His visitation was Saturday, April 3, from 6-8 PM at Quinlan Funeral Home. Mr. Mitchells Funeral Service was Monday, April 5, 10:00 AM at Quinlan Funeral Home with burial following at 2:00 pm in the Elmbranch Cemetery in Bardwell, Texas. He was born on July 10, 1945 in Dallas, the son of Joseph Carlyle Mitchell Sr. and Emma D. Williams. He is survived by Barbara Shelton; daughter, Stacy Maddalozzo and husband Tommy of Dallas; son, William Mitchell and wife Julie of Corpus Christi; step-son Justin C. Shelton, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sister Doris Holt and husband Kenneth of Balch Springs, sister Clara Lewis of Avery, brother Kenneth E. Mitchell of Avery, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brother, Joseph Carlyle Mitchell Jr. and parents Joseph Carlyle Sr. and Emma Mitchell
