Sandra Rowe

Sandra Ann Rowe, 75 previously of Quinlan Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Sandra was born on December 15, 1939 to A.R. and Cora Lee Topping in Paris, Texas. Sandra would meet and marry Don Rowe in 1957 in Oklahoma. Sandra had an entrepreneurial spirit long before it became fashionable. She created Sandra's Motor Home Cleaning Service in Wills Point and continued her own business for over thirty years before retiring. Sandra enjoyed the beach, sunshine and the water. She collected angels and she loved gardening. Sandra enjoyed helping beautiful things grow whether it was flowers and plants; or her children and grandchildren. Sandra was affectionately known as "Nana" to everyone close to her. Hers was a giving spirit, open heart and infectious smile that shined brilliantly from her eyes and her heart. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, A.R. and Cora Toppings; her husband, Don Rowe;brothers, John "Richard" Toppings and Tommy Toppings; sisters Dorothy Baty and Rinda Hodges; granddaughter, Melissa Brown and son-in-law Michael White. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kathy Woodson and her husband, Woody; Tracy Henson, Ashley Stewart and her husband Lee; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Michaela, Mallory, Meagan, J. D., Brittany, Katy, Justin and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Andy, Allison, Shianne, Josie, McKaye, Luke, Corbin, Evan, Brandon, Addison, Nataleigh, Gracie, Mason, Addy and Nora; sister, Wanda Wright and her husband James; as well extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. The interment will immediately follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan Texas.
