Ronald Lee Messick

Ronald L. Messick, 82, of Caddo Mills, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in Rockwall, Texas.

Ron was born July 15, 1940 in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late James Franklin Messick and the late Lula Wilson Messick. Ron served in the US Army on active duty for three years and in the Reserves for an additional three years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills.

Ron is survived by one sister, Shirley Tippit; seven nieces, Linda Tracy Harmon, Shelly Tracy Wisdom, Vicki Kemp, Kim Barker, Allison Hegwood, Amanda Messick Hall, and Elizabeth Tippit; three nephews, Steve Miller, Shawn Messick, and Scott Messick.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lula Messick; his sisters, Bettye Tracy and Norma Miller; his brothers, James Messick, Bill Messick, and Marshall Messick; his niece Melissa Messick Epperson; and nephew, Craig Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Caddo Mills, Texas with Reverend Steve Richards officiating.
