Robbie Bowers

Robbie Marie Bowers, 61, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, September 14, 2012. Robbie was born July 22, 1951 to Aubrey and Nowanna Oliver in Dallas, Texas. She married David Bowers in 1969. To this union were born two daughters, Rebecca Lynn and Dawn Rochelle. Robbie is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Nowanna and her beloved Mama Rebecca Catherine Oliver. Those left to celebrate her life include her daughters, Rebecca Nagy and her husband Jay and Dawn Garrett with her husband Edward; grandchildren, Colton Wayne Purnell and his wife Shara, Jaydon Tyler Nagy, Catherine Lynn Garrett, Edward E.J. Garrett, Elijah Garrett, and Ethan Garrett; as well as her brother R. W. Oliver and his wife Glenda; niece Kelly Chaney; nephews, Randy Oliver and his wife Lauren, Dustin Oliver and his wife LeAnn; aunt Verne Booker and uncle David Snider; as well as numerous friends and neighbors. A celebration of Robbies life is to be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas. Reverend Rance Moore will officiate. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donation be made to the funeral home for Robbies final expenses.
