Penny Welch

Penny Jo Welch, 51, of Quinlan, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas. Penny was born October 12, 1963 to Tom and Dorothy Casey in Olean, New York. Penny work for Welch Cleaning Services for several years. Penny's greatest joy was making a loving and safe home for her husband and family. She adored her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them - loving them and being loved. Her engaging smile; her brave and compassionate spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Penny is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Dorothy and Ronald Frederick and grandson, Adam Button. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James Welch; sons, Howard "Scooter" Button (Ashley), Mikale Welch (Megan) Beau Welch and Mason Welch; daughters, Heather Presley (Drew), Amber Dean (L.T. Busby), Laceye Welch (Chris); grandchildren, Addison, Blakstin, Calee, Kasey, Tristin, Bentley, Conlee, Ender and Stetson; father, Tom Casey; brothers, Vern Woods and Bill Casey (Michelle); sisters, Robin Herd and Susan Haines (Don); as well numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. The interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Park immediately following the service.
