Pat Wood

Patricia Ann Wood, 78, of Quinlan, Texas passed away May 18, 2018 while on a cruise.

She is the daughter of Jesse Aubrey Thompson and Lois Ladene Pierce Thompson. She was born December 3, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. Patricia was a 1957 graduate of Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. She married her husband of 49 years, William Eugene Wood, Sr. on December 13, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma.

She loved reading, traveling, visiting with her round table friends, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son-in-law, Douglas W. Fowler.

She is survived by her son, William E. Wood, Jr. and his wife, Sheryl, of Hurst, Texas; daughter, Cynthia A. Fowler, of Quinlan, Texas; a foster son, Timothy V. Rosebrock, of Dallas. Texas; five grandchildren, Sarah Autrey and husband, Loren, of Quinlan, Texas, Melissa Fowler, of Quinlan, Texas, Jessica Liddell and husband, David, of Abilene, Texas, William Wood and Aaron Wood of Hurst, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Garrett Autrey, Jesslyn Autrey, Anthony Liddell, Corbin Fowler, David Liddell, Douglas Liddell, and Sarissa Liddell.

Public visitation and viewing will be Friday night, May 25, 2018 at Quinlan Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 in the Chapel. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Etter Lake Cemetery in Greenville, Texas. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, grandsons-in-law, and her great grandsons.

She will be missed by all who knew her....
