Pansy Vaillette

Pansy Louise Vaillette, 58 of Greenville Texas, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Pansy was born on August 29, 1956 to Jimmie Ray, Sr. and Dorothy Jean Merimon in Dallas, Texas. Pansy was stricken with polio early in her life; but never let her disability affect her love of life. She loved to watch T.V. and drink Dr. Pepper. She loved all kinds of animals. Pansy had horses, pet pigs, dogs and cats. But Pansy's greatest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her sisters, nieces and nephews and other extended family members. Pansy is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Ray, Sr. and Dorothy Jean Merimon; husband, Roger Prince; son Ricky Vaillette; daughter, Teresa Vaillette; brothers, Robert Merimon and Jimmie Ray Merimon, Jr; as well as, her sister Renee Winkles. Those left to celebrate her memory include her grandson, Ricky Allan Vaillette; sisters, Barbara Phillips, Claire Luellen and her husband Eddy; her special companion, "Bear"; as well numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday,, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
