Mildred Cauble

Mildred Naomi Cauble, 101, passed away at her home in Campbell, Texas on Monday, June 16, 2014. Mildred was born February 26, 1913 in Merit, Texas to Jack and Agnes Owens. She would work at various jobs and vocations in the community for over seventy-five years. She operated a drill press with her husband at their aluminum fabrication shop well into her eighties. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Owens; brothers, Johnny, Bill and Raymond Owens; sisters, Doris Purkey, Elsie Mae Smith, Lois Morris, Bertina Dorman and Betsy Thulis; daughter, Barbara Lyday; as well as her great-grandson, Dillon Kizer. Mildred is survived by grandchildren, Mike Lyday and his wife Diane; Terry Kizer and her husband Darin; Kristi Mize and her husband Jackie and Jeff Lyday; eleven great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Campbell.
