Maurita Pearl Oneal, 71, of Kaufman, passed away on January 1, 2019 in Kaufman. Maurita was born on May 2, 1947 in Point, Texas the daughter of Earl Rhodes and Eva Mae (Brown) Rhodes.
Maurita is preceded in her death by her parents, Earl and Eva Mae Rhodes; sister, Mabel Worley; brothers, Charles Rhodes and Robert Rhodes.
Maurita’s surviving family members are her two daughters, Lori Gonzalez (Walter Nichols) and Rhonda Harvey (Tommy Malone); grandchildren, Dawnie Jo (Padon), Bobby Joe, Nicholas, Crystal (Jeff), Mario Jr. (Rebecca) , Abby, Rosa, and Robert Jr.; great-grandchildren, Josiah, Jeriah, Bentlee, Everlee, Justice, Breighlynn, and Roxie; two brothers, Darnell Rhodes (Susan) and James Rhodes (Mollie); numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10 am in the Point Community Center.
