Mary Crowsey

Mary Frances Crowsey, 85, passed away on December 24, 2012 in Greenville, Texas. Mary was born on May 29, 1927 to Edgar and Myrtle Leggitt in Gainesville, Texas. Mary met and later married Howard S. Crowsey on March 21, 1945. To this union were born five children, Leon, Jackie, Diana, Mary and David. Mary spent her life creating a loving home and safe haven for her family. Her family was her life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Myrtle; her husband, Howard; son Leon Crowsey; daughter, Diana Crowsey and brother Oliver E. Leggitt. Those left to celebrate her life include her son; David Crowsey; daughters, Jackie Adair and Mary Murry; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren: two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. She will truly be missed. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Church on the Lake. A funeral service will be held that same day at 2:00 at p.m. also at the church. Interment to immediately follow the service at Lakeside memorial Park in Quinlan, Texas.
