Marvin Gene Whitehead, resident of Point, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Point. His visitation was Sunday, April 18, from 3-6 PM at Quinlan Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service was Monday, April 19, 2010, 1:00 PM at Quinlan Funeral Home with burial following at 2:30 pm at the DFW National Cemetery. He was born on March 30, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Aubrey Lee and Nettie Mae Whitehead. Arrangements through Quinlan Funeral Home. He is survived by wife, Doris Whitehead, son Billy Wayne Whitehead and his wife Donna, daughter Annette Whitehead of Humble, Texas, daughter Rhonda Broiles and her husband James, son Marvin Gene Whitehead Jr. of Mesquite, 12 grand children, 2 great grand children, sister Virgie Lee Braley and her husband Joe of Melissa, numerous nieces and nephews.
