Martin Thorson

Martin Lloyd Thorson Sr., 59, of Quinlan passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 in Kemp, Texas. A memorial service will be held 7:00pm Monday, July 25 at Quinlan Funeral Home with Rev. David Hammond officiating.

Martin was born November 2, 1956 in Dallas County to Walter Earl Thorson and Winona Lee Cook Thorson. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Martin Thorson Jr and his wife Brandi of Quinlan; grandchildren Natalie and Valerie; sisters Shelia Moore of Maybank, and Glenda Cunningham and husband Terry Richardson of Tawakoni; brother Walter Thorson of Ennis. Martin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kate Barnhart.
