Marisol Hatley

Marisol Ortiz Hatley (Marji), age 64, joined our Heavenly Father on July 31, 2013. Born July 10, 1949 in Colon, Panama. Marji is preceded in death by her parents Angel and Marcelina Ortiz, daughter Sarah, father-in-law M W Hatley Sr., Mother-in-law Sudie Fay Hatley, sister-in-laws; Judy Hatley, Mildred Ortiz, and brother-in-laws; M.W. Hatley, Jr., and Bobby Hatley. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Hatley of 28 years; daughter Dawn Thompson and husband Matt; grandchildren Miranda and Jenna; brothers Angel Ortiz, Peter Ortiz, and sisters; Celia Hostetler, Carol Ortiz, Debie Greer and loyal dogs Duggar and Dixie. Marji is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, extended family and friends. Marji was a long time and devoted member of the Wills Point Chapter No.366 Order of the Eastern Star and with grace and devotion, honorably held and served the titles of Worthy Matron and newly appointed District 1 Humanitarian Chairman. Marji worked at Fresenius Medical Care in Terrell and Kaufman, where she established many loving friendships. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the loving healthcare providers in her final days. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hooker Cemetery in Lone Oak, immediately following the service. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
