Maria Delgado

Funeral service for Maria Nieves (Davila) Delgado, age 83, of Quinlan, Texas will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service. Mrs. Delgado passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas.

Maria was born November 13, 1937 to Juan Rivera and Isidra  Davila in Zacatecas, Mexico. She married Francisco Delgado on August 3, 1961. Mrs. Delgado was a homemaker.

Mrs. Delgado is survived by her children Norbeto, Maria Elena, Catalina, Alfredo, Eva, Felipa, Otilia, Nieves, and Gustavo; twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as many more family members and friends.

Maria is preceded in death by her daughter Maria Lourdes and son Francisco Javier. Maria was joined in death with her husband on September 6, 2021. Just as they celebrated all things in life, so they shall be celebrated together in a joint funeral. Following the service, Mr. and Mrs. Delgado shall be interred at Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan.
