Lonnie Foster

Lonnie F. Foster, 89; passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. Lonnie was born on December 30, 1924 to Lonnie and Rosie Foster in Dallas, Texas. Lonnie was a truck driver for Budweiser Brewing Company and a resident of Quinlan for over thirty years. Lonnie served his country with honor in the United States Navy. Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Rosie Foster. Those left to celebrate his life include his daughter, Linda Thompson; grandchildren, Christopher Upchurch, Phillip Upchurch, Jonathan Thompson and James Thompson; sisters, Maxine Holly, Earline Thompson and Hazel Rike; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three great-great great-grandchildren; as well numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
