Leon Barton, Jr

Leon Barton, Jr., 69, of Greenville, passed away on February 19 in Dallas. Leon was born in England, Arkansas on May 7, 1946 to the parents, Leon Barton, Sr. and Ava Bessie (Finley) Barton. He was a commercial truck driver for many years.

Leon is preceded in his death by his wife Sharon Barton; his parents, Leon and Ava Barton; and brother, John Wesley Barton.

Leon is survived by his sisters, Gloria Romo of Greenville and Frances Perez of Center; his brother, Roger Dale Barton of Washington State; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His cremation is under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. No memorial service is planed at this time.
