Leah Nichols

Leah (Baldwin) Nichols, 49; passed from this life on Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home in Josephine, Texas surrounded by her family. Leah was born on February 3, 1965 to Harvey and Jolaine Baldwin in Adamsville, Georgia. Leah met and later married Tracy Nichols on August 30, 1996 in Rockwall, Texas. Leah worked as an office and accounts manager for several different dental offices including, Lavon Dental Care and Monarch Dental Care. Leah is preceded by her mother, Jolaine Baldwin. Those left to celebrate her life include Tracy Nichols, her husband of 18 years; sons, Scott Nichols and his wife Crystal, Brent Nichols; grandchildren, Angelina, Anthony and Aleah, Leah's namesake; her father, Junior Baldwin and his wife Joy; brothers, Jason Baldwin, Ryan Baldwin and his wife Paula; sister Laura Childress and her husband Charles; niece, Chelsea Childress; father and mother-in-law, Doug Nichols and his wife Lula, who loved Leah like their own daughter. Other survivors include Ricky Byers, Angela Morris; aunt, Dianne Conner and husband Pat; brother-in-law, Randall Nichols and his wife Tonja; sister-in-law, Risa Keeling and her husband Victor; nieces and nephews, Jenalee, Joseph, Derek and Rebecca; great-nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Ryan, Aiden, Jalyn and Hollyn; as well as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 27,2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28,2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Reverend Joe Partain of the Church of God (Holiness) will officiate. Interment will immediately follow the service at Josephine Cemetery.
