Lance Hart

Lance "Papaw" Hart, 46, of Point passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 in Hunt County. Funeral service is 10:00am Wednesday, February 3 at the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Kerry Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Weiland Cemetery under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, February 2, at the funeral home.

Lance was born October 3, 1969 in Greenville to George Henry Hart and Saundra Masters Hart. He married Scarlet Dempsey January 13, 1990 in Quinlan. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and for his love of the outdoors.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Saundra Hart of Quinlan; his loving wife of 26 years, Scarlet Hart; daughter Krystal Gosdin and Gary of Caddo Mills; sons Clayton Hart and Taylor of Quinlan, Dustin Hart of Point, Ashton Dempsey of Point, and Brendon Dempsey of Point; grandchildren Natalia Gosdin, Rhyder Cranmer, Madison Hart, Brynlee Hart, and Maddox Bullard; sisters Aundria Daugherty and Steve of Conroe, and Rhonda Butler and Wendell of Quinlan; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Lance was preceded in death by his father and one niece Chelsie Butler.
