Kennith Ray Cotten, 68, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in the peace of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 26, 1943, in Quinlan, the son of Hal Elijah and Edith Ethel (Smith) Cotten. He married Betty Kay Graham on August 28, 1971in Kleburg. He was employed with Safeway Food Stores before his retiring. He is survived by his wife; daughter Suzette Villalobos of Dallas; four grandchildren, Justin Ray Marshall, Russell James Brooks, Hannah Rose Brooks, and Bradley Scott Snow all of Dallas; three brothers, Gerald Cotten of Chandler, Larry Cotten of Chandler, and Marlin Cotten of Kemp; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in his death by his parents; daughter, Ceresa Kay Tano; great nephew, Preston Michael Clark; and niece, Brandy Michelle Graham. His funeral service is planned for Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 am in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Darlene Taft officiating. Burial will follow the service at the IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan. Visitation with his family is planned for Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
