Junior Hogue of Lone Oak passed away Sunday December 12, 2010 at the Greenville Hospital with his family beside him. Funeral services are set for Thursday December 16, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Lone Oak Assembly of God Church with Sam Calk officiating. Visitation will be at the Quinlan Funeral Home Wednesday December 15 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Burial will be in the Lynch Cemetery. Mr. Hogue was born in the Alba, Texas area on December 16, 1931 to Lonnie Richard Hogue and Ollie Mosley Hogue. He worked his entire life as a farm laborer. He married Janie Belle Smith August 20, 1955 in the Woosley Community. He is survived by his wife, Janie Hogue and three children; Nelda Gallagher of Lone Oak, Ann Cummings and husband Steve of Lone Oak, and Roger Hogue of Lone Oak; brother Richard Hogue and wife Mary of Quinlan; grandchildren: Duane Gallagher and family of Lone Oak, Chad Stroud and family of Lone Oak, Alisha McGee and family of Caddo Mills, Leigh Ann Hoffman and family of Campbell, Brooke Toon and family of Greenville, Kevin Stroud and family of Royse City, Nikki York and family of Point; Timothy Culver of Teague, Roger Hogue Jr. of Teague; and Justin Hogue of Lone Oak. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Alma Jones and Bessie Mae Hogue. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Duane Gallagher, Chad Stroud, David Toon, Roger Hogue, Jr., Justin Hogue and Timothy Culver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity if one wishes.
