Joel D. Bain was born August 14, 1954, in Mesquite, Texas, to parents Robert Bain & Geraldine Black-Bain. His parents & siblings, Linda Middleton, Tony Bain, Robyn Boyd, and Lisa Panek preceded Joel in death.
Joel served in the United States Army. He was an accomplished plumber who enjoyed countless hobbies including fishing, hunting, golfing, gambling, motorcycle riding and embellishing stories with a cold beer.
He treasured his visits to Lampasas Texas, with his dear friends Tommy & Janice Allen.
He was passionate about having a good time and wanting everyone around him to be happy.
Joel D. Bain passed away at Veterans Memorial Hospital on May 31st 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Joel is survived by his daughters Jennifer, Jodi & Jami, who will forever cherish the time, memories, and love they shared with their Dad, as well as his sweetheart Lola Jonas, and brother Tim Bain.
Joel was Papa to DJ, Canaan, Kaitlyn, Jaxon, Kinley, Madelyn, and great-granddaughter, Valerie. He took pride in this title and was proud of all of his grandkids.
He will be missed as his love ones remember him through his favorite songs, oysters, stories and butter pecan ice cream.
The family would like to thank the staff at VA Hospital & The Fisher House of Dallas for their care and comfort.
Memorial Arrangements: Quinlan Funeral Home will host services for Joel, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75211 at 11a.m.
