Harold Bishop

Harold Hobart Bishop, 75; passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. Harold was born on January 3, 1939 to Harold and Ann Bishop in Dallas, Texas. Harold served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Navy. He would work many years as a driver for Industrial Catering of Dallas; as well as a book binder for Taylor Publishing. Harold is preceded by his father, Harold Bishop; his mother Ann Kunkel and her husband Felix, who loved and raised Harold; as well as his brother Donald Bishop . Those left to celebrate his life include his children, Tami Kring and her husband Troy, Steven Bishop, Leonard Esner and his wife Peggy, Harold Bishop, Jr., Sherrie Marshall and Cathy Bishop; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery will be later that same afternoon.
