Gloria Guinn

Gloria Ann Guinn, 75 of Quinlan Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Gloria was born on April 5, 1939 to Grover and Margie Grimes in Dallas, Texas. Gloria worked as a rehabilitation therapy technician at Terrell State Hospital for over twenty-years before retiring around 1990. Gloria enjoyed watching western movies. She relished her time around the table with her family; and she adored her constant companion, "Lil Joe". Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Margie Grimes; husband, Carl Guinn; daughter Tirzah Chandler; brothers, Grover Grimes, Jr., Billy Grimes, Romallas Grimes; sisters, Karrie Weathersby and Birdie Mae Cameron. Those left to celebrate her memory include her son, Don Burns; grandchildren, Jamie Chandler and her partner Amber Finstad, James Chandler, Jr. and his wife Megan; great-grandchildren, Victor, Layden, James III and Jace; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. she will truly be missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Park.
