Glenn Troy Iddins, 58, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at his home in Wills Point, Texas. Glenn was born to Elmer and Macqueen Iddins on July 31, 1954 in Lyons, GA. Glenn met and later married Debra Thiessen on January 8, 2003 in Quinlan, Texas. Glenn worked as a prison corrections officer for the State of Georgia, retiring after 18 years of service. He served his country in the United States Navy for five years. He and Debbie then moved to the Lake area and settled in Wills Point. They have been residence of the Lake Tawakoni-Quinlan area for the past eight years. Glenn is preceded in death by his father, E. T. Iddins. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Elijah Teel and his wife Frances, David Teel and his wife Shelley; daughter, Elisabeth Turner and her husband Joshua; grandchildren Lariah, Gabriel, Jayla, Chance, Micah and Jayven; mother, Macqueen Iddins; sisters, Linda Corbin and Rita Green; as well as many friends and neighbors. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. the same day immediately before the service. A private interment will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas.
