Gary Davis, Sr.

Gary Steven Davis, Sr., 67, of Wills Point passed away on February 29, 2016 after a long illness. Gary was born on September 21, 1948 in Dallas. His mother, Goldie Mae (Redd) Davis married James M. Kerry and were the parents that shaped his life. Gary was a storeroom manager for many years for Tempco Roofing Company.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Davis; his mother, Goldie Kerry; brother, Tommy Davis; and sisters, Chereal Steweart and Brenda Joyce Maxey.

Those who are cherishing the memories of Gary are his wife, Lois Ann Davis; son, Gary Steven Davis, Jr. and Selina Rose Ann Hughes; father, James M. Kerry; grandchildren, Matthew Steven Davis and Elizabeth Nicole Davis; brother, Larry Davis; and other relatives and friends.

Gary's funeral service will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Pastor Shannon Salmen officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday night at the funeral home. His cremation is under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.
