Frankie Rose Bolden, 77, resident of Quinlan, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the peace of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 30, 1934 in Dallas, the daughter of Marvin Walter and Velma Lela (Redding) Morris. She married Billy Joe Bolden on February 9, 1957 in Dallas. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. Mrs. Bolden is survived by her sons, Jerry Bolden, Sr. and his wife Susan of Mesquite, Robert Bolden and his wife Wendie of Royse City, Wendall Bolden and his wife Tammy of Quinlan, and Greg Bolden, Sr. and his wife Cindy of Quinlan; daughter, Gaila Holmes of Mesquite; sister Lela Byous and her husband J. C. of Midlothian; brother Jimmy Don Morris of Princeton; grandchildren, Shelley Bolden, Stefanie Kendall and her husband Erik, Jerry Bolden, Jr., Micheal Bolden, Wendall Joe Bolden and his wife Tonya, Jason Bolden and his wife Debra, Bryan Bolden and Kara, Greg Bolden, Jr., Shelbie Riley and her husband Nathan, Jennifer Watson and her husband Shawn, Amanda Holmes, and Michelle Holmes; and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents; one son, Ronnie Bolden, and a great grandchild, Jeremiah Underwood. Her funeral service will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Byous officiating. Her burial will follow the service at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Mesquite. Visitation with the family will be Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
