Frances Sweeney

Frances “Babe” Sweeney, 97, of Lone Oak passed away on December 23, 2018 in Carrollton, TX. Babe was born in Dallas on September 25, 1921, the daughter of James Green Sweeney and Alta (Belt) Sweeney. Babe worked as a technician in the electronics industry prior to her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memories are her caretaker, Garlan Joe Dooley of Sulphur Springs, nephew, Mike Kelley of Frisco and friends Gail and Charles Bohmfalk of Lone Oak.

Babe was preceded in death by her parents, James Green Sweeney and Alta Sweeney.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Hooker Cemetery in Lone Oak.

Arrangements are under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.
