Frances Scarfone

Frances M. Scarfone, 73, of Commerce passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Dallas. Frances was born on July 15, 1945 in Houston, the daughter of Dewey Luke Martin, Sr. and Maggie Frances (Baxley) Martin. She owned and operated a day care center where she was known as “Mamma Fran.”

Frances is survived by three children, Jan Dee Kozlovsky Francis and her husband Roy, Benny Wayne Scarfone, and Angela Scarfone; son-in-law and caretaker, Terry Gay; grandchildren, Brooke Marie, Taylor, Conner, Breanna, and T. C.; great-grandchildren, Taylynn, Cole, Novalee, Kylie, and Brody; and numerous other relatives.

Frances is preceded in her death by her parents, her brothers, and her sisters.
