Florence Rooney

Florence Julia Rooney, 87, passed away on May 14, 2020 at her home in Nash, Texas. Florence was born on December 5, 1932 in Colon, Panama, the daughter of Edward Hagel and Florence (Meyers) Hagel. She Married Hubert B. Rooney on May 17, 1958 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Florence is preceded in her death by her husband, Hubert Rooney; parents, Edward and Florence Hagel; daughter, Cheryl Jackson; and brother, Edward Hagel.

Her family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her brothers, Gary Hagel and his wife, Celeste and Raymond Hagel and his wife, Virginia; granddaughters, Angela Torres-Quick and her husband, Jorge Torres and Julie Phillips; great grandchildren, Alicity, Victoria, Jonathan, Dayveon, and numerous other great grandchildren.

A viewing visitation will be held at Wednesday May 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM and a funeral service will start at 3:00 in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. She will be interned at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
