Epelito Gomez

Funeral service for Epelito Gomez, age 71, of Mesquite will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home with Hector Gomez officiating. Interment will follow at Royse City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Mr. Gomez passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home in Mesquite.

Epelito was born on May 14, 1950 in Uvalde, Texas to Marshall and Felizitas Gomez. He married Kathleen Sanchez on March 23, 1977. He worked in retail.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen Gomez; sons, Mario, Michael, Danny, David, Mark, Leroy, Gilbert, Robert; daughters, MaryAnn Gomez, Rachel Alonso, Cindy Gomez; and numerous grandchildren.

Epelito was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Jane Gomez and son Jimmy Gomez.
