El Kinslow

El Reno Kinslow, 88 passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. El Reno was born on March 13, 1925 to Walker and Kathern Payne in Okemah, Oklahoma; one of a family of fifteen. She would meet and later marry Marvin Kinslow, the love of her life for 70 years. El Reno would spend her life as a helpmate to her husband Marvin and a mother to her five children, Danny, Patricia, Jo, Juan Nell and Marlene. She would create and maintain a warm and loving home for her family; as well as an open and welcoming place for her friends and neighbors. Her's is a smile; a laugh and a hug that will truly be missed by all who knew her. El Reno is preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Kathern; four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin Kinslow; son Danny Kinslow and his wife Debra; daughters, Patricia Verhelst and her husband Jerry, Jo Dobbs and her husband Art, Juan Nell Hays and her husband David, Marlene Tefertiller and her husband Charles; thirteen grandchildren; brothers Douglas Payne, Patrick Payne and his wife Debbie, Richard Payne and his wife Jerri Pat; sisters, Judy Wester and her husband Joe, Nova Collier and her husband Willard; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, friends and neighbors. The family request that donations be made in El Reno's name to the Alzheimer Foundation in lieu of flowers. There are no services planned at this time. A private family time will be held at a later date.
