Edward Templin

Edward Wilson Templin was born February 28, 1941 to Maxine and Edward Templin in Dallas, Texas. He was the oldest of four siblings- brothers, Robert and Paul and sister Glenda. Edward served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army from 1957 to 1961, being based in Germany for two years. Edward was a man of many talents - carpentry, heating and air conditioning to name a few. He worked around the Dallas metroplex area for many years installing air conditioning units in high rise office buildings. Edward would meet and later marry his wife Jean in 1962. On May 18, 2014, they would have been married fifty-two years. Their only child, Debbie, was born on August 16, 1968. Edward is preceded by his parent, Edward and Maxine Templin; brother, Robert Templin and sister Glenda Herring. He is survived by his wife, Jean Templin of Florida; daughter, Debbie Noonan of Atlanta, GA; brother, Paul Templin and his family of Tuttle, OK; the family of Robert Templin of Newcastle, OK and the family of Glenda Herring of Mineola, TX. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward's memory to the SPCA of Hunt County.
