Eulogy
Dorothy Scott, sister, wife, mother, and friend.
Dot and Ray were married when Dot was a young girl. She was devoted to making a home for Ray and the boys.
She had a compassionate heart. If you ever needed anything, she would not hesitate to give it to you. Now, she might forget that she gave it to you, but nonetheless, it was yours if she had it.
Dorothy was very proud of her Cherokee heritage and history. She collected and enjoyed wearing the jewelry of the Cherokee tribe.
Dot loved to garden. She would plant seeds and bulbs to bloom into beautiful flowers and plants. She would plant herbs and vegetables that she would use to cook with, which brings me to her cooking. Dot was an excellent cook. She would cook for any occasion and would send enough food for an army. She specialized in homemade Chicken and Dumplings. Dot loved entertaining her friends and would always offer to feed them anytime.
If you were Dot’s friend, you were friends for life. Once her friend, always her friend.
Dot lived a good life, and we know that she is out of pain and with Our Heavenly Father.
