Dorothy Russell

Dorothy Jean Russell, 74, of Point, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Wills Point. Dorothy was born on October 6, 1940 to Clyde and Lillie V. (Wilson) King in Pasadena, TX. Dorothy married Carol Dean Russell on November 12, 1965 in Pasadena, TX. Dorothy's passion was for her family. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren. Her open heart, God filled spirit and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Carol Dean Russell; her parents, Clyde and Lillie V. King; and three brothers. Those left to celebrate Dorothy's life include her daughter, Marla Barber and her husband Rob of Conroe; her son, Dennis Russell of Point; and three grandchildren, Savannah, Colton, and Emma; as well numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. Her funeral service will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pat Cooper officiating. Her burial will follow the service in Hooker Ridge Cemetery, East Tawakoni. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 24, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home.
