Diana McIlveene

Diana Lynn Wix McIlveene, 50, of Quinlan passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Dallas. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Cruthird, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, June 16 at Quinlan Funeral Home.

Diana was born November 8, 1965 in Portland, Tennessee to Bobby Golman Wix and Edith Carter Wix. She graduated high school and moved to Texas with her cowboy where she attended Paris Jr. College in Greenville to obtain her associates degree. She was a substitute teacher in Quinlan for Butler Elementary, but her passion was loving and taking care of her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 23 years Paul McIlveene of Quinlan; son Paul Wayne McIlveene of Quinlan; Mother Edith Wix of Portland, TN; brother Bobby Wix and wife Tracey of Scottsville, KY; sisters Carolyn Greer and husband Joe of Scottsville, KY, and Barbara Jackson and husband Cleveland of Cross Plains, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend Lisa Simons. Diana was preceded in death by her father Bobby Wix and her BFF Donna Simons.

The family suggests that if anyone would like to make donations that they can be made in Diana's name to Baylor T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital Leukemia Foundation.
