Dian Wallace

Dian Wallace, 69; passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. Dian was born on January 8, 1945 to Henry and Anise Coats in Emory, Texas. Dian loved to dance, gamble and play dominoes. But her greatest passion was to spend time with her family. Dian had a warm heart, open arms and infectious smile. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Dian is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anice Coats; son, Lanny Noland; granddaughter, Christina Nicole; sisters, Minnie Smith and Peggy Noland; nephews, Danny and Randy Noland. Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Andrew Smith and his wife Carrie;daughter, Angela Biggerstaff and her husband, David;grandchildren, Shayne Smith and his wife Audrey, Randy Smith and Krista Castro, Andrew Smith, Jr. and Heather Famuelson; great-grandchildren, Gracie Smith, Julian Smith, Taylor Smith, Nolan Smith, and Dallas Smith;brother, Lonnie Coats and his wife Rosa;aunts, Ola Mae Barrett and Marjean Cotton;nephews, Dennis Smith, Teddy Smith, and Lonnie Coats, Jr.;nieces, Starr Coats and Tye Coats;cousins, Paula Milton, Alvis Coats, Billy Coats and Jeff Coats;as well as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Able Springs Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join us at the cemetery located on Kaufman County Road 338, northeast of Terrell. Dian's daughter Angie will host a reception at her house following the service. Direction to the reception will be provided at the cemetery.
