Denny McCarthy

Memorial service for Denny Frank McCarthy, Jr., age 63, of Quinlan will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Mr. McCarthy passed away in Greenville on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Denny was born on January 20, 1958 in Malden, Massachusetts to Denny Frank McCarthy, Sr. and Martha Irene Pratt McCarthy Russ. He married Janice Elaine Walker on May 19, 1979 in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Denny faithfully served his country in the United States Army before becoming a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and gaming.

He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Janice; sister, Donna Guilfoyle and husband, Richard of Maine; brother Dana Russ and wife, DeeAnn of Greenville, TX; sons, Robert McCarthy of Scottsdale, AZ, Shaun McCarthy and wife, Kendra of Lone Oak, TX; grandsons, Jeffery McCarthy, Gage Dush; granddaughters, Alyanna Anguiano, Rylee, McCarthy; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Denny Sr. and Martha; and brother, Edward Russ III.
