Delonda McKinney

Delonda McKinney, age 51, of Deer Park, formerly of Quinlan, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Houston. She was born December 12, 1964 in Dallas the daughter of Johnny and Lois (Glass) Rich. On March 16, 1991, she married Jim McKinney.

Those who are cherishing the memory of her life are her husband, Jim McKinney; daughters, Kristy Simpson and husband Caleb, of Austin, Kaye Herbert and husband Chris, of Austin, and Cortney Raether and husband Nick, of Ft. Calhoun, NE; nine grandchildren, Mason, Gavin, Cayden, Elijah, Micah, Ezra, Abigail, Joshua, and Nathan; mother, Lois Rich, of Royse City; sisters, Stacy Rich, Kim Peveto, and Lori Young. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Rich.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Rich officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Rains County with Caleb Simpson, Stevie Steele, Justin Steele, Derrick Dieken, Hunter Dieken, and Alan Wilson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2016.
