David Curb

September 18, 1963 — July 19, 2016

David Andrew Curb, 52, of Quinlan passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his residence. Funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday, July 23 at Family Fellowship Church of Greenville with Rev. Paul Blue officiating. Burial will follow in Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, July 22 at the Quinlan Funeral Home.

David was born September 18, 1963 to George Andrew Curb and Mary Jenice Curb. He worked as a Drafter and Designer for Texas Instruments for many years before opening his own small engine repair shop called Curb Service Small Engine Repair. Later he went to work for Old Castle in Terrell. David married the love of his life Cynthia Ann Butts on March 8, 1986 in Quinlan. Together they raised a loving family and made many happy memories together. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years Cynthia Curb of Quinlan; daughter Amanda Morris and husband Kevin of Euless; sons Jonathan Curb of Quinlan and Kevin Curb of Quinlan; parents George and Jenice Curb of Quinlan; sisters Teresa Ogletree and husband Gary of Quinlan, and Linda Butler and husband A.E. of Quinlan; several nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Family Fellowship Church of Greenville in David's name. He would enjoy knowing that something is making a difference.
