David Lesley Conlon

David Lesley Conlon was born to the late Lester David and Elizabeth Ann (Young) Conlon in Dallas, Texas on March 1, 1949. David served in the U.S. Army; while in the military he earned his Helicopter Mechanic Certification.

David married his wife Janis Marie Chaffin of 37 years on March 1, 1970. He and his wife were blessed with three daughters. He was employed by Longmile Trucking Company for over 20 years and served as a volunteer firefighter for the cities of Ferris, Hutchins, and Waxahachie, Texas.

David Conlon is survived by his three daughters; Christina Climer of Waxahachie, Texas, Stacy Hendrix and husband David Hendrix of Richardson, Texas, Lisa Sechrest and husband David Sechrest of Quinlan, Texas; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and his wife.

On Saturday, October 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm, family and friends will gather at the gravesite of his late wife located at Lakeside Memorial Park to lay his ashes with his beloved wife as requested.
