Darrell Stovall

Darrell Lynn Stovall, 60, of Quinlan, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Darrell was born on October 21, 1954 to C.A. and Velma Stovall in Terrell, Texas. Darrell would meet Vicki Conaway - the love of his life - and marry her in 1975. Darrell was a truck driver. He drove truck for Byrd Trucking for twenty-eight years. Darrell was a simple man of simple pleasures. He loved being with his family and spending time with friends and driving the open road. He was a compassionate soul with an open heart; a winning smile and contagious laugh. He never met a stranger. His is a spirit that will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Darrell is preceded in death by his parent, C.A. and Velma Stovall and his brother, David Stovall. Those left to cherish his memory include Vicki Stovall - his much loved wife; son Sonny Stovall; daughters, Tina Stanphill and her husband Kyle, Tonya Trail and her husband Richard; grandchildren, David Kemp, Trevor Kemp, Jordan Stanphill, Tyler Trail, Stetson Trail, Dalton Trail, Kahllee Trail, Brittiany Stovall, Morgan "Hoss" Stovall, McKenna Stovall; brothers, Don Stovall and Dennith Stovall; Doug Lovern and family; as well as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. The interment will immediately follow the service at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.
