Dakota Acker, 18, of Wills Point passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Quinlan. Funeral service will be 7:00pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at Lakeview Church with Rev. Adam Williams officiating. Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Dakota was born July 8, 1996 in Dallas, Texas to George Acker and Marion Waynette Acker. He was a senior at Quinlan Ford High School and a member of Lakeview Church in Quinlan. Dakota is survived by his father George Acker and wife Kim of Wills Point; mother Marion Waynette Acker of Dallas; brother George Acker Jr. of Kaufman; sisters Amanda Acker of Fountain, CO, Jasamine Arnold of Quinlan and Christie Hoover of Dallas; grandmother Marion Florow of Dallas; aunts Sandy Acker of Wills Point, Diane Bolin and Hank Lacy of Center Point and Lucy Saldeen and husband Ricky of Dallas; uncles Thomas Acker Jr. and wife Kenna of Crockett, Errol Funkhert and wife Christine of Germany and Glen Bolin of Center Point; cousins Lindsey Acker, Becky Rogers, Debbie Pena, Barbara Bartlett, Jacky Funkhert, Michael Funkhert, Heather Thompson, Michael Thompson, Timothy Kimball and Sandra Kimball; numerous second cousins; nieces Seciley Lyons, Maranda Lyons; nephew Jeremiah Lyons; best friends Kordell Dowden of Wills Point and Samuel Elliott of Wills Point and countless other friends too numerous to list.
